Ryan Romine began playing the bassoon because his high school band already had enough saxophones. Twelve years later, he found himself gainfully employed and profoundly grateful for the popularity of the saxophone.

•Build and maintain a studio of young bassoonists who thrive in an energetic, artistic, and appropriately competitive atmosphere
My Musical Goals:
•Perform each of the 88+ solos of the Paris Concours
•Collaborate with young composers to help ensure the bassoon’s place in the repertoire of the twenty-first century
